Parents Of Slain ISIS Hostage Praise Trump, Say Daughter Would Still Be Alive ‘If Obama Had Been As Decisive As President Trump’

On Sunday morning, President Trump announced that U.S. special forces had conducted a successful mission to kill ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.

Trump said the mission was carried out to bring justice to Kayla Mueller, the individual the mission was named after, and others who were held hostage by the terror group.

The Washington Examiner reports:

Mueller, 26, was an American Christian woman and human rights activist who was kidnapped by ISIS terrorists outside of a hospital in Aleppo on Aug. 4, 2013. Held hostage for 18 months, she was raped repeatedly by the ISIS leader. She refused to convert to Islam during her imprisonment, according to those who were with her and escaped, and even defended her faith to the vicious “Jihadi John.” She was reportedly killed during coalition airstrikes in early 2015.

Mueller’s mother claims her death could have been avoided if former President Obama had the same determination and decisiveness as President Trump.

“I still say Kayla should be here & if Obama had been as decisive as President Trump, maybe she would have been,” Marsha Mueller said on Sunday, per Fox News.

Kayla Mueller’s parents said on Sunday that they hope the ISIS leader’s death will reveal more answers about what happened to their daughter. Even though they confirmed her death through pictures sent by militants, their daughter’s body was never recovered.

“She was held in many prisons,” Carl Mueller, her father, told the Republic on Sunday.  “She was held in solitary confinement. She was tortured.  She was intimidated. She was ultimately raped by al-Baghdadi himself.”

According to Fox News, President Obama was given an opportunity to rescue four American hostages but was slow to respond—which ultimately gave ISIS time to move the individuals. Check it out:

The Obama administration was criticized over a reported 2015 rescue mission that targeted four prisoners held at a makeshift ISIS prison.

By the time U.S. commandos stormed the compound, the hostages were already gone. Some relatives and people who worked on the raid blamed the White House for not acting swiftly enough on giving the mission a green light.

Specific intelligence had emerged in late May providing officials with the hostages’ likely location — including a building, sources told Fox News at the time. The intelligence was described as being ‘”strong,” “specific” and “perishable,” but the White House did not sign off on the rescue mission until much later, and it ultimately was launched July 4.

The Washington Examiner reports national security adviser Robert O’Brien noted the mission Trump green-lit to kill al-Baghdadi was named after Kayla Mueller. General Mark Milley of the Joint Chiefs of Staff was reportedly credited with the idea.

According to the report, “O’Brien explained that the mission was inspired by the urge to bring justice to Mueller and other Americans who had been brutalized by Baghdadi and his followers.”

“We finally brought justice to a man that beheaded the three Americans: two journalists and a humanitarian worker,” O’Brien said per the Washington Examiner, adding, “One of the things that General Milley did is General Milley named the operation, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, named the operation that took down al-Baghdadi after Kayla Mueller.”

  1. I’m impressed, I must say. Actually rarely should i encounter a blog that’s both educative and entertaining, and without a doubt, you may have hit the nail to the head. Your thought is outstanding; the problem is something which inadequate people are speaking intelligently about. My business is very happy that I came across this during my seek out some thing in regards to this.

  2. Undeniably believe that which you stated. Your favorite justification appeared to be on the internet the easiest thing to be aware of. I say to you, I certainly get irked while people consider worries that they just do not know about. You managed to hit the nail upon the top and also defined out the whole thing without having side-effects , people could take a signal. Will probably be back to get more. Thanks .Chlebek Dukana
