‘They’re All LOSERS’: Trump Roasts New Never-Trump Republican Ad

President Trump lashed out over social media at a number of “Never Trump” Republicans—those political pundits to claim to be conservatives but then criticize the president at every turn. These same pundits even fail to praise the president when he does something beneficial to the party or country.

The Lincoln Project, which includes many “Republicans” who fundamentally disagree with Trump, sparked the president’s tweetstorm when they released a new ad critical of him.

“A group of RINO Republicans who failed badly 12 years ago, then again 8 years ago, and then got BADLY beaten by me, a political first-timer, 4 years ago, have copied (no imagination) the concept of an ad from Ronald Reagan, ‘Morning in America’, doing everything possible to get even for all of their many failures,” Trump said in an initial tweet just after midnight on Tuesday.

“You see, these loser types don’t care about 252 new Federal Judges, 2 great Supreme Court Justices, a rebuilt military, a protected 2nd Amendment, biggest EVER Tax & Regulation cuts, and much more,” he added.

Trump claimed he “didn’t use any” of the Lincoln Project members to help him “because they don’t know how to win.” He also claimed, “their so-called Lincoln Project is a disgrace to Honest Abe.”

Trump then set his attention on George Conway, the husband of his advisor Kellyanne Conway.

“I don’t know what Kellyanne did to her deranged loser of a husband, Moonface, but it must have been really bad,” he tweeted.

Trump also specifically named a number of others involved with the Lincoln Project.

“They’re all LOSERS, but Abe Lincoln, Republican, is all smiles!” Trump concluded.

Politico reports:

The president’s multi-tweet screed came in response to the latest anti-Trump advertisement released earlier Monday by The Lincoln Project, the super PAC launched last December by George Conway and a handful of other disaffected Republicans and former party members.

The ominous, minute-long spot — titled “Mourning in America,” a play on the famous 1984 campaign commercial and slogan of former President Ronald Reagan — savaged the Trump administration’s response to the coronavirus pandemic and questioned: “If we have another four years like this, will there even be an America?”
