Elon Musk Has Strong Words For Politicians ‘Who Stole Our Liberty’: Should Be ‘Tarred, Feathered & Thrown Out Of Town!’

Telsa founder and CEO Elon Musk shared strong words for “politicians and unelected bureaucrats” that are continuing to extend lockdowns.

Taking to Twitter, Musk responded to a video from Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy who criticized lawmakers.

“Well said!” Musk said, adding those who “stole our liberty should be tarred, feathered and thrown out of town.”

Portnoy responded to Musk’s comments and endorsement in a statement where he praised Musk’s career accomplishments.

“There we go, Elon! Knocked it outta the park! I’ve been waiting for the day where Elon Musk does something right and he finally did it, he endorsed Dave Portnoy to run for public office. Listen, Elon and I have had our issues in the past,” Portnoy said in the statement. “That’s well documented on this website. I’ve said some things about how he’s a complete and total fraud, he’s said nothing and made billions of dollars off his successful companies, I’ve said some more things about how he’s an overrated douche bag, he’s once again said nothing at all and continued to make more money than I could make in a billion lifetimes but hey, I’m willing to let bygones be bygones. Let’s bury that hatchet pal. Let’s do it huh? For the greater good of the world.”

He added: “And I mean come on, this guy Elon has given us Tesla and SpaceX. Gee whiz. Two SUPERB companies that have really pushed the boundaries of technology as we know it. And I don’t know if you’ve heard but Elon is trying to get us to Mars (!!!!!) which he 1000% will do because, if I know one thing about Elon Musk, it’s that when he says he’s gonna do something, he does it. No ifs ands or buts about it. Put that supercharged brain of Elon’s with the brain of Dave Portnoy who has created a 450 million dollar company brick-by-brick from nothing and we’re talking about world domination. Barstool Sports and Elon Musk, together as one.”

The Washington Examiner reports:

Musk has been a vocal skeptic of the response from state governments, including his own in California, where he has battled state lawmakers to keep his Tesla manufacturing plant in Fremont open. Earlier this week, he said he was going to keep his factory open and dared law officials to arrest him.

On Wednesday, Musk said he was considering moving to Texas after Los Angeles County officials announced they would extend stay-at-home orders through the end of July.
