NPR Correspondent Compares Allied Soldiers And ANTIFA In Tweet Commemorating D-Day Anniversary

NPR Correspondent Mara Liasson has caused some controversy online after she compared the Allied forces who participated in the D-Day invasion to Antifa, the “terrorist organization” that regularly holds violent demonstrations to protest the government.

“Biggest antifa rally in history,” she tweeted.

The tweet did not go over well at all, especially as Antifa members continue to hold violent protests in major cities across the country after the killing of George Floyd.
