Kanye West Reveals All In Tweetstorm Before Deleting The Posts

Kanye West is trying to divorce his wife, Kim Kardashian West, according to a series of tweets the rapper posted and deleted on Wednesday.

During West’s first presidential campaign rally in Charleston, South Carolina on Sunday, he opened up about his parents nearly aborting him and shared that he and his wife nearly aborted their first child. Concluding his comments, he admitted Kim might try to divorce him for sharing that previously unknown fact.

But, in a series of tweets, the music mogul said he was the one trying to initiate the divorce.

“I been trying to get divorced since Kim met with Meek at the Warldolf for prison reform,” West wrote in the since-deleted message, as Reuters reports.

The report adds:

Late on Monday, West posted a series of tweets, which were also later deleted, claiming his wife was trying to have him locked up on medical grounds and comparing himself to Nelson Mandela.

Those came a day after West launched his U.S. presidential campaign with a rambling rally in Charleston, South Carolina. At that event, he tearfully referenced a decision he said he made with wife Kim Kardashian not to abort a pregnancy.

The outlet adds “a representative for Kardashian did not immediately respond to an email seeking comment” on either incident.

Kardashian West posted a lengthy Instagram story in response to West, commenting on his mental health and bipolar disorder.

“As many of you know, Kanye has bipolar disorder,” she wrote. “Anyone who has this or has a loved one in their life who does, knows how incredibly complicated and painful it is to understand.”

She continued via Faithwire:

Those that understand mental illness or even compulsive behavior know that the family is powerless unless the member is a minor. People who are unaware or far removed from this experience can be judgmental and not understand that the individual themselves have to engage in the process of getting help no matter how hard family and friends try.

I understand Kanye is subject to criticism because he is a public figure and his actions at times can cause strong opinions and emotions. He is a brilliant but complicated person who on top of the pressures of being an artist and a black man, who experienced the painful loss of his mother, and has to deal with the pressure and isolation that is heightened by his bi-polar disorder. Those who are close with Kanye know his heart and understand his words sometimes do not align with his intentions.

Living with bi-polar disorder does not diminish or invalidate his dreams and his creative ideas, no matter how big or unobtainable they may feel to some. That is part of his genius, and as we have all witnessed, many of his big dreams have come true.

Us Weekly reports she has also met with divorce lawyers in the time after Kanye posted the tweets.

“Kim has been meeting with lawyers to explore and talk about divorce,” a source told the outlet.
