Watch This On Repeat: Pelosi Accidentally Admits Why Americans Cannot Afford Biden To Win In 2020

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi may have just cost Joe Biden the presidential election with a short, but impactful statement about his potential presidency.

Before the statement, there are a couple of contextual facts to keep in mind:

  1. Chinese relations with the United States are incredibly tense. President Trump has banned Chinese-owned social media app TikTok and another app from operating in the U.S. He claims the Chinese government was using the information that it collected through the apps as a strategic surveillance effort against Americans.
  2. Americans across the political spectrum are worried about foreign interference in the 2020 presidential election after Russia and China were confirmed to have tried to influence the presidential election in 2016. As a result of the 2016 results, Democrats spent three years investigating the impact of the interference (and some still do not accept the legitimacy of the election).
  3. Democrats under the Obama administration were found out to have been paying for or otherwise soliciting foreign involvement in the 2016 presidential election after they paid former British spy Christopher Steele for opposition research. Federal officials then used the research as evidence to obtain a FISA warrant to spy on the Trump campaign.
  4. Biden’s own relationship with China has been uniquely challenged after it was learned that his son has been paid by the Chinese government.

Keeping those things in mind, Pelosi accidentally admitted during a segment with CNN on Sunday that “China would prefer Joe Biden” to win the presidency.

Yikes.
