It’s the latest case of ‘Do As I Say, Not As I Do’. Another liberal, elitist, Democrat politician is caught breaking the very rules he continues to impose on others.
This week in New York City, Big Apple Mayor Bill de Blasio was spotted by Mama Grizzly Radio contributors at Pier 11. de Blasio had no mask on, and he certainly wasn’t practicing social distancing. Instead, he was sitting right next to another man, enjoying a beautiful fall day. Sounds like fun, right? The problem is, this is the same de Blasio that is forbidding New Yorkers from the very same freedoms.
Months earlier, de Blasio set up a snitch line for citizens to tattle on fellow Gothamites who are not practicing at least six-feet of social distancing. But while New York residents are expected to fall in line like trained animals, apparently those rules don’t apply to the city’s Big Bird.
Whether de Blasio’s lunch mate is a staffer or just a comrade doesn’t mask the fact that Hizz(dis)oner is going against the same requirements he is pushing down his constituents’ collective throats.
de Blasio isn’t the first Democrat to demonstrate such brazen hypocrisy when it comes to COVID-19. A maskless Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney was caught dining indoors at a restaurant in Maryland this summer, even though he was simultaneously imposing bans on indoor dining in Philly.
What’s ‘too dangerous’ for us is apparently AOK for Democrat officials. Just like Nancy Pelosi’s now infamous haircut and Kenney’s meal in Maryland, de Blasio’s latest actions basically equate to him thumbing his honker at New Yorkers and really, at all Americans. Double standard is a gross understatement.
So, while the rest of us are expected to ‘mask up’ and stay six-feet apart, de Blasio can scarf down pizza Kasich-style and flap his gums, with another person just inches away from his mouth. No wonder this man registered zero percent in the polls during his ridiculous run for the White House in 2016. He is the worst politics has to offer. Unfortunately for New Yorkers, de Blasio continues to run wild, breaking their wallets, their police force, and their spirit.
