CNN’s Jim Acosta Claims Trump’s Condition Is ‘Serious’ & Experiencing Major Symptoms

President Trump was transferred to Walter Reed Medical Center on Friday as he has tested positive for the coronavirus. The decision is a routine step following the positive diagnosis and the president announced the decision himself in a brief video.

Trump is in good spirits and is doing well, he revealed in the video.

But, CNN’s Jim Acosta is reporting the president is in a worse condition than he is letting on.

“Trump adviser said there is a reason for concern about Trump’s health tonight,” Acosta said in a tweet.

“‘This is serious,’ the source said,” the CNN host claimed. “The source went on to describe Trump as very tired, very fatigued and having some trouble breathing. WH officials continue to say Trump will be fine.”

CBS News’ Sara Cook similarly reported that an individual at the White House told her outlet that the president’s condition was “very concerning.”

These reports come at odds with the only official report on the president’s current condition from Sean Conley, U.S. Navy Commander and physician to the president. Conley released a statement on Friday evening saying the president is “doing very well.”

“This evening I am happy to report that the President is doing very well,” Conley said. “He is not requiring any supplemental oxygen, but in consultation with specialists, we have elected to initiate Remdesivir therapy. He has completed his first dose and is resting comfortably.”

Trump also tweeted on Friday evening, just before midnight that the process was “going well, I think!”

“Thank you to all. LOVE!!!” he added.

One America News Network’s Jack Posobiec reports Trump has been jovial and is telling jokes at the hospital.

Several people responded to the positive report, encouraged by it:
