Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden all but called voters stupid during an interview with 13 Action News on Saturday when he said they do not deserve to know where he stands on potentially packing the Supreme Court with additional (liberal) justices.
“No, they [voters] don’t deserve to know,” he said, again dodging the question.
This is the latest dodge in what has become a predictable pattern by the Biden-Harris ticket to deflect or dodge the issue.
Biden was asked about court-packing in the first presidential debate. He refused to answer.
Harris was asked about court-packing in the vice presidential debate. She refused to answer.
Biden was asked again during a rally. He refused to answer.
And again, and again.
Here’s how the interview with Biden unfolded after KTNV’s Ross DiMattei brought up the issue of court-packing.
“This is the number one thing I’ve been asked about by viewers in the past couple of days,” DiMattei said, urging a response.
Biden wrote the request off as a Republican-request, dismissing moderates and undecided voters who also want him to answer the question.
“Well, you’ve been asked by viewers who are probably Republicans who don’t want me to continue talking about what they are doing to the court right now,” Biden responded.
“Don’t the voters deserve to know?” the reporter asked.
To which Biden bluntly said: “No, they don’t deserve to know.”
“I’m not going to play his [Trump’s] game,” the former vice president continued. “He’d love me to talk about — and I’ve already said something on court-packing — he’d love that to be the discussion instead of what he’s doing now.”
“He’s about to make a pick in the middle of an election — the first time this has ever been done,” Biden continued, deflecting.

Here’s more from Biden’s speech, ahead of the Q&A, via KTNV:
During the event, Biden told his supporters that President Trump’s personal conduct has been “reckless” since he was diagnosed with COVID-19 last week. Trump was released from Walter Reed Medical Center on Monday.
“His reckless personal conduct since his diagnosis, the destabilizing effect it’s having on our government is unconscionable. He didn’t take the necessary precautions to protect himself or others. The longer Donald Trump is president, the more reckless he gets,” Biden said.
Biden blasted Trump for pulling out of congressional negotiations for another round of pandemic economic relief and reversing himself Friday. Biden noted it’s been months since House Democrats passed a $3.4 trillion package for businesses, individuals, and local and state governments dealing with cratering tax revenues and increased costs.
