Actress Alyssa Milano wants Americans to stop stocking up on firearms amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
“Americans bought over 2 million firearms in March of 2020, over a million more than this time last year,” she said in a tweet, alongside a video of her lecturing Americans on the dangers of firearms and discouraging their purchase.
Milano continued: “We have to keep each other safe by social distancing and washing our hands and not bringing dangerous firearms into our homes.”
The actress also added the hashtags “StopTheCoronavirusGunSurge and #NoRA to the end of the tweet.
In the accompanying video, Milano warned of dangers she believed would come about if Americans continued to buy up guns and ammo.
“Hi everybody. So I’m making this video because I’m seeing reports all over the country of Americans responding to the coronavirus outbreak by buying up guns and ammunition,” she said per BizPac Review.
“And I know that we are all scared and stressed out during these really uncertain times, but that is exactly why stockpiling weapons could have dire consequences for our own personal safety and those around us,” the far-Left actress added.
Milano cautioned: “The weapons that people are buying today could end up being used in households, schools, churches, bars and on our streets in the future.”
“So we all have to look out for each other,” she concluded. “So please, please, please share this video to help stop the coronavirus gun surge. We can’t lose any more lives to guns during this pandemic or after it’s over.”

Fellow actor James Woods, among many others, quickly responded to the comments and said they were further reason to buy more guns and ammo.
“Thank you for the reminder. When the looting starts, always be prepared. Buy more ammo!” he tweeted in response.

I certainly feel better knowing I can protect myself and my family—especially now as criminals are being given early prison releases amid pandemic panic in unprecedented numbers.

The NRA gains thousands of members every single time one of you self-absorbed, self-righteous, smug celebrities do dumb videos like this. Keep it going! You are the reason the NRA barely has to spend money marketing.

Second Amendment abolitionists seize upon every opportunity to erode your Constitutionally protected freedoms. Yes, they are coming to take your guns. Yes, door-to-door confiscation is the ultimate goal. And yes, they will never stop.
