Joe Biden, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, wants the United States to be led by a person “who believes in science.”
Taking to Twitter, Biden tweeted: “We need a president who believes in science.”
We need a president who believes in science.
— Joe Biden (@JoeBiden) May 19, 2020
The tweet was an obvious reference to President Trump and his leadership in the coronavirus recovery effort. As the president is looking to reopen the country and the economy, many Democrats included Biden are objecting. Liberal lawmakers and governors are cautioning from reopening too soon as to not cause more Americans to suffer from the coronavirus.
Biden’s simple, yet provocative tweet drew quite the backlash as Biden currently leads the party that supports abortion up until (and even after) an unborn baby’s birthdate.
Many people who responded to Biden’s tweet similarly pointed out the Democrats’ own failure to recognize scientific facts:
I will consider your candidacy if you explain the science behind your opinion that a biological man can be a woman, and your party's position that a baby in the ninth month of pregnancy is a mere cluster of cells. https://t.co/gayelXptRA

Absolutely agree. Though this rules out literally every Democrat because they all think men can get pregnant. https://t.co/xwKJj8wiR5

We need a president who doesn’t spy on opposition candidates and then lies about it.

Which scientists? The ones who are saying that we should reopen America or just the ones approved by the Dems?

We need a Democrat candidate who knows what office he’s running for.
