Dwayne Johnson, better known by his WWE moniker “The Rock,” released a video on Sunday of him endorsing Democratic nominee Joe Biden and his running mate Kamala Harris.
Johnson, who identifies himself as a “political independent and centrist” admits to having “voted for both parties in the past.”
“In this critical presidential election, I’m endorsing @JoeBiden & @KamalaHarris,” he also said.
“Progress takes courage, humanity, empathy, strength, KINDNESS & RESPECT. We must ALL VOTE,” he added.

The tweet includes a link to a post that reads: “Be a voter. Save America. Your one-stop shop to get out the vote.”
The website encourages people to “1. Register to Vote. 2. Know Your State. 3. Protect Every Last Vote. 4. Volunteer.”
It is run by CROOKED, a liberal website that “believes that we need a better conversation about politics, culture, and the world around us—one that doesn’t just focus on what’s broken, but what we can do to fix it.”
“We are a media network that showcases stories, voices, and opportunities for activism that inform, entertain, and inspire action, because it’s up to all of us to do our part to build a better world,” the bio continues.
Johnson’s endorsement was met with mixed reviews. His large group of supporters mostly thanked the star for backing the Democratic ticket while several others critiqued that the star was falling in-line with liberal Hollywood.
I think celebrities should stay out of politics.

Celebrities going out of their way to support a candidate worked with Clinton. No reason why it wouldn't work again.

This is truly a very poor decision. I guess the Rock is more gullible than I thought he was.

Welp. The Rock’s sky high likability just dropped like…. a rock. Sad to see.
