Watch: Harris Bursts Into Laughter When Asked Why She Was Rated Most Liberal Senator

Democratic vice presidential nominee Kamala Harris was rated the Senate’s most liberal member and she finds that hilarious.

When CBS News anchor Norah O’Donnell asked Harris about the rating, the California senator laughed and laughed and laughed.

“You’re considered the most liberal United States senator,” O’Donnell told Harris during their “60 Minutes” interview, as BizPac Review reports.

“I, somebody, said that, and actually it was Mike Pence on the debate stage,” Harris responded before bursting into laughter.

Her response only bolsters the argument of some conversations that Joe Biden is a Trojan horse for Harris’ much more progressive agenda.

“Well, actually, the non-partisan GovTrack has rated you as the most liberal senator,” the CBS anchor echoed, pointing to the outlet’s 2019 ranking of the senator.

“What I will do and I promise you this, and this is what Joe wants me to do — this was part of our deal,” Harris responded. “I will always share with him my lived experience as it relates to any issue that we confront. And I promised Joe that I will give him that perspective and always be honest with him.”

“And is that a socialist or progressive perspective?” the host asked via the report.

Harris broke out into laughter again, eventually mustering a “No. No.”

“It is the perspective of a woman who grew up as a Black child in America, who was also a prosecutor, who also has a mother who arrived here at the age of 19 from India. Who also, you know, likes hip hop,” she laughingly continued. “Like, what do you wanna know?”

The host continued: “I want to give you the opportunity to address this because, at the Republican National Convention, President Trump made the case that Joe Biden is going to be nothing more than a Trojan horse for socialist policies, for the left-wing of the Democratic Party.”

And, O’Donnell asked: “Are you going to push those policies when you’re vice president?”

BizPac Review reports Harris brushed the question, answering: “I am not gonna be confined to Donald Trump’s definition of who I or anybody else is. And I think America has learned that that would be a mistake. I would not have joined the ticket if I didn’t support what Joe was proposing.”
