Donald Trump Blacklisted From Yet Another Big-Tech Company — Payment Processor ‘Stripe’ Denies Trump Campaign

Online payment processing service Stripe has also banned Trump from using their platform preventing Trumps campaign from accepting donations by credit card.

The payment processing service Stripe will no longer process payments for President Trump’s campaign website.

Stripe alleges that President Trump violated the company’s policies against “encouraging violence.”

A number of tech sites and services have banned President Trump in the wake of the Capitol Hill protests.

“Shopify does not tolerate actions that incite violence. Based on recent events, we have determined that the actions by President Donald J. Trump violate our Acceptable Use Policy, which prohibits promotion or support of organizations, platforms or people that threaten or condone violence to further a cause. As a result, we have terminated stores affiliated with President Trump.”

CEO Mark Zuckerberg stated in a recent post that following the events on Capitol Hill yesterday and President Trump’s comments on social media about the situation, Facebook would be banning the President’s access to the platform “indefinitely.”
