Candace Owens Stuns Conservatives And Liberals Alike With Post About The Presidency

With just an eight-word tweet, conservative activist Candace Owens has managed a way to stun her fellow conservatives and liberals alike.

“I love America. Thinking about running for President,” Owens tweeted Saturday.

The tweet was liked by more than 212,000 people as her quick rise to conservative stardom as well as being a vocal supporter of President Trump over the last four years has garnered her a following of more than 2.5 million on Twitter.

Fellow conservative and best selling author Joy Villa quickly expressed her support for Owens and the idea of having her live at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.

“GIRL. DO IT!” Villa tweeted back with several heart emojis.

The U.S. Sun reports Owens’ tweet did not reveal the timeline of her presidential intentions, whether she was eyeing 2024 — during what could be President Biden’s re-election effort — or a later election.

From the report:

And it’s not the first time the controversial author has made her play for potential political leadership.

In November of last year, Owens responded to a social media post from boxer Devon Alexander hinting at her presidential goals.

Alexander shared a tweet from Owens where she claimed that Joe Biden is “not the president-elect,” despite projections at the time giving Biden 306 electoral votes to Trump’s 232.

“What’s going to happen to this one after Trump is out of office,” Alexander wrote in response to Owens’ tweet, along with a series of laughing emojis.

“2024 is a long way off… Maybe I’ll run as his successor,” Owens responded.
