White House press secretary Jen Psaki refrained from calling a surge of unaccompanied migrant children at the US-Mexico border a “crisis,” but used the term many times to describe actions taken by the Trump administration, according to Fox News.
More and more children are being arrested at the U.S.-Mexican border since Biden has taken office.
The White House press secretary referred to climate change as a “crisis.”
“It’s not just [COVID-19]…where [Trump] has ignored experts and science…it’s true for the climate crisis too,” Psaki wrote.
Apparently, this is where Psaki stands:

Thanks to @Everytown for putting some $$ behind ads holding Republicans accountable who won't support even the most basic steps–red flag law and background checks to address the gun violence crisis

Thank you @BetoORourke take guns. Please. No one needs an assault weapon. This is a crisis.

From Fox News:
Psaki did not immediately return Fox News’ request for comment.
Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas claimed to reporters on Monday that there is no crisis involving an overflow of migrant children.
Psaki recently defended the opening of a new child migrant holding facility that was criticized under the Trump administration. She said the Biden administration’s policy is “not to expel unaccompanied children who arrive at the border.”
