Democratic Rep. Rashida Tlaib of Michigan demands that law enforcement be put to a swift end, according to The Western Journal.
Following the death of 20-year-old Daunte Wright, violent BLM rioting protests broke out in the city of Minneapolis.
Brooklyn Center Police Chief Tim Gannon stated that Kim Potter, the officer that shot and killed Wright had made a deadly mistake mistaking her firearm for her taser.
Potter has since submitted her resignation.
Tlaib took to Twitter stating, “It wasn’t an accident. Policing in our country is inherently & intentionally racist.”
“Daunte Wright was met with aggression & violence.”
“I am done with those who condone government-funded murder.”
“No more policing, incarceration, and militarization. It can’t be reformed.”

We are sick and heartbroken.
In the closing days of Derek Chauvin’s murder trial, Brooklyn Center police killed 20 year old Daunte Wright, another Black man, during a traffic stop.

Democratic Rep. Ayanna Pressley said, “From slave patrols to traffic stops. We can’t reform this.”
An elected United States representative, Rep. Rashida Tlaib, wants an end to policing.
Ok, we can start with the police that protect you. Lead by example. https://t.co/NEEYfBaVQw

“No more policing”
It doesn’t get more explicit than this that Democrats want to abolish the police. https://t.co/GPYF9qkpmg

More from The Western Journal:
Many pushed back at Tlaib’s comments.
On Monday, rioting over Wright’s death led to more than 40 people being arrested. Multiple businesses in Brooklyn Center and Minneapolis were looted during rioting that began Sunday night.
