Fox News just announced that they have signed two popular conservative personalities to host their own weekend shows.
Trey Gowdy, the former South Carolina representative, along with talk radio show host Dan Bongino, are getting their own shows.
The move comes as Fox News attempts to recover some of the conservative audience they lost during the election cycle.
Gowdy’s new show will be airing Sunday evenings at 7 p.m EST.
The show will begin next month on June 6, Fox News stated.
Gowdy will reportedly discuss “the latest legal and political news” while on air, and it will be produced live.

Gowdy first joined Fox News as a contributor in 2019. He came to national prominence after leading the House Benghazi Committee and questioning former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and other Obama administration officials about the 2012 attack on the U.S. Consulate in Libya.
Bongino’s new 10 p.m. Eastern Saturday show will debut June 5 and also replaces rebroadcasts of the Fox News show “Gutfeld,” which stopped production after Greg Gutfeld’s new show “Gutfeld!” began airing last month.

Bongino, a former U.S. Secret Service agent and conservative radio talk show host, joined Fox News as a contributor in 2019.
As part of the deal, Fox Nation will begin streaming Bongino’s radio show, “The Dan Bongino Show” weekdays from 12 to 3 p.m. EST starting May 25.

Bongino has quickly become a top conservative personality and has been commended for helping get the new social media app Parler off the ground.
On the same weekend that Bongino’s new show kicks off, Fox News is also permanently scheduling two other new shows called “The Big Saturday Show” and “The Big Sunday Show.”
These will be panel discussion shows and will include a rotating group of panelists.
Several Fox News personalities will be among the rotating panelists.
Back in March Fox began testing the shows.
