Florida now leads the nation in lowest per capita COVID rates among all continental U.S. states, , per a new report on COVID data.
Only 12 citizens per 100,000 are getting the illness, the report adds.
This recovery is occurring without the need for overly restrictive mandates.
“Florida now has the lowest covid rate in the continental United States,” writes Clay Travis on Twitter.
“And they’ve done it without mask or vaccine mandates,” he adds.
“This is why Ron Desantis terrifies the coronabros. Because all their shutdowns & mandates, which destroy freedoms, provide no benefits.”

Back in August, Biden launched an “all out smear campaign” against Florida and Texas, Trending Politics notes.
Biden told Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and Texas Governor Greg Abbot to “get out of the way.”
“Florida and Texas account for 1/3 of all new covid-19 cases…,” Biden said, completely ignoring the low death rates. “I say to these governors ‘please help.’ But if you aren’t going to help, at least get out of the way of the people trying to do the right thing.”

Fox News reporter Peter Doocy responded, “President Biden says that we are not returning to lockdowns, shutdowns, and school closures, but he also once said that we didn’t have to wear masks anymore once we were vaccinated. So why should Americans trust him that?”
The White House’s Principal Deputy Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said, “Well, because we listen to the scientists, we listened to the expert[s]. This is a public health situation. This is not about politics at all. This is about saving lives. And this is what the President is all about. He wants to make sure that we are saving lives.”
“If you look at … the last six months. That’s what he’s done, every day. And you see that in the numbers. Now we’re at a point where we have to double down and make it very, very clear to people that we can’t, we can’t let the pandemic win, we have to continue to fight.”
“So, if you’re listening to the scientists, if scientists come to you at some point down the line and say it is our opinion that there should be shutdowns and there should be school closures, you would do that?” Doocy asked.
“Well, we listen to, like I said, we listen to the CDC and the expert[s] and their guidance…are, you know, the CDC is a body that is very well respected,” Jean-Pierre responded. “And again, we follow their guidance.”

In Los Angeles County, for example, you can’t walk inside a restaurant or business without wearing a mask…
Pulling up to the drive-thru maskless isn’t a violation, but God forbid you walk inside and spread COVID without a face covering or proof of vaccination.
Blue states have proudly led the nation in retaining COVID-19 mandates that have been outdated since the latter part of 2020…
OutKick’s Clay Travis tweeted out the revealing numbers, pointing out how COVID mandates put in place have overstayed their welcome as the media parades around their own natural immunity to data.
In New York City, municipal workers will be subject to mandatory vaccination before returning to work, ousting regular testing as an option starting Nov. 1.
Citizens in Los Angeles, namely parents to young students, are increasingly uproarious over vaccination mandates put in place to prohibit returning to a normal life.
