Shameless: Biden Directly Asks Crowd, ‘Did You Ever Think You’d Be Paying This Much For Gas?’ [VIDEO]

Joe Biden made another tone-deaf remark, revealing how he remains completely out of touch with the American people.

Despite pushing for massive spending bills, Biden finally admits that inflation is “worrisome.”

His rhetoric has changed significantly. Only three months ago, Biden dismissed concerns about skyrocketing costs by saying it was “temporary.”

“Everything from a gallon of gas to loaf of bread costs more,” Biden said.

“And it’s worrisome, even though wages are going up,” he continued.

Reflecting on the impact of his own administration, Biden said, “Did you ever think you’d be paying this much for a gallon of gas?”

“In some parts of California, they’re paying $4.50 a gallon.”

Biden is seemingly unaware that the highest prices in the state of California are actually more than $7 per gallon.

In July, Biden dismissed the rising costs and inflation as temporary and nothing to worry about.

“Some folks have raised worries that this could be a sign of persistent inflation. But that’s not our view,” he said at the White House on July 19.

“Our experts believe and the data shows that most of the price increases we’ve seen are, were expected and expected to be temporary,” he continued.

The annual inflation rate hit 5.0 percent in May, increasing to 5.4 in June staying steady through September.

With the Biden administration’s policies not bringing down the rate and the supply chain backing up, Joe’s hope that everything would magically correct itself, which it has not, has led to his job approval numbers plummeting.

In October, the inflation rate hit 6.2 percent, up 0.9 percent from just a month earlier marking it as the highest rate since November 1990.

In a failed attempt to pivot away from the poor numbers, Biden actually argued that the rising cost of goods was proof of how his policies were working.

“Because of the strength of our economic recovery, American families have been able to buy more products,” he said.
