Photo Surfaces Showing Biden’s Far-Left Nominee Once a Student at Soviet-era University in Moscow

An alarming photograph has surfaced of Joe Biden’s far-left banking nominee.

Saule Omarova, who is described as a “literal communist,” was nominated by Biden for the position of the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC).

Omarova has openly called for the elimination of all private bank accounts and deposits.

In a recorded speech provided below, Omarova directly states, “There will be no more private bank accounts, and all of the deposit accounts will be held directly at the Fed.”

Omarova’s central goal is to “redesign” the financial system and make the economy “more equitable for everyone.”

Omarova even wrote her college thesis on Karl Marx, according to Fox News.

This thesis paper has not been turned over to the Senate Banking Committee.

Fox News has obtained a photo of Saule Omarova during her college days at Moscow State University.

“To the extent that the thesis topic comes up, it also will be, I think, in the context of, you know what, how this individual would comply with Congress’s preeminent role in oversight and what it says about their ability to be responsive to Congress,” a senior Senate GOP aide told Fox News.

“This is the first article of government, or the first branch of government ensconced in Article 1 and the oversight role is extremely important,” the aide added.

“Someone who just just takes a laissez faire view of that, I think this may speak to their, to the relationship that they intend to have with us moving forward.”

Instead of having private bank accounts, all bank deposits would be transferred to “FedAccounts” at the Federal Reserve, according to Omarova’s published papers on the issue.

This would change the “private-public power balance” and democratize finance to a more systemic level, she claims.

Omarova provided an explanation of her papers while speaking at the Law and Political Economy (LPE) Project’s “Law & Political Economy: Democracy Beyond Neoliberalism” conference in March.

Omarova has attempted to denounce communism and the Soviet Union under questioning from Banking Committee Chairman Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio.

“I don’t, I absolutely don’t,” Omarova said when asked if she has communist alliegances.

“I’ve lived through that regime. I’ve lived through that system. I have absolutely no affection or affiliation for any of those ideas.”

“I come from the people who has been oppressed by the Soviet regime,” Omarova said.

Despite these recent remarks, the video below of Omarova shows her opinions prior to be nominated by Joe Biden.

Republicans oppose Omarova’s nomination so she made not successfully gain the position in power.

Senator Steve Daines criticized Omarova for supporting “Communist ideals.”

Daines says this disqualifies her for the position.

“Republicans will overwhelmingly oppose this self-described radical,” Sen. Pat Toomey said.
