Joe Biden Complains of ‘Vile’ Questions and ‘Verbal Abuse’ by Republicans Against Ketanji Brown Jackson

Joe Biden unleashed his fury at Republicans who dared to question the views and qualifications of his nominee to the Supreme Court, Ketanji Brown Jackson.

Biden understood that it would be a “painful and difficult” process, but says Republicans were worse than he expected.

“What Judge Jackson was put through was well beyond that,” Biden said angrily.

“It was verbal abuse. The anger. The constant interruptions, the most vile, baseless assertions and accusations,” Biden claimed.

Critics note that Jackson faced a number of simple and straightforward questions, such as defining what a “woman” is, but Judge Jackson was unable to.

“Not in this context. I’m not a biologist,” Jackson replied.

She also refused to say when a human life begins.

During another alarming moment, Jackson was unable to answer when equal protection of the laws attach to a human being.

The fact that these simple questions stumped Jackson has been deeply concerning for many Americans.

Biden is particularly angry with questions from Senators Josh Hawley (R-MO) and Ted Cruz (R-TX) who asked about her judicial record that includes reduced sentences for convicts guilty of child pornography,

Senator Josh Hawley of Missouri says that he “noticed an alarming pattern when it comes to Judge Jackson’s treatment of sex offenders, especially those preying on children.”

“In every single child porn case for which we can find records, Judge Jackson deviated from the federal sentencing guidelines in favor of child porn offenders,” Hawley argued. Jackson considers some offenders merely “nonpedophiles” who obtain child pornography.

“This is a disturbing record for any judge, but especially one nominated to the highest court in the land,” Hawley noted in his thread of examples. “Protecting the most vulnerable shouldn’t be up for debate. Sending child predators to jail shouldn’t be controversial.”

“Judge Jackson has a pattern of letting child porn offenders off the hook for their appalling crimes,” Hawley continued. Jackson is accused of advocating for this practice since law school, Hawley added.

The Senate ultimately confirmed the nomination of Judge Jackson as three Republicans betrayed the GOP and sided by Democrats. This included Senators Mitt Romney (R-UT), Susan Collins (R-ME) and Lisa Murkowski (R-AK).

Joe Biden is accused of ignoring the merit and qualifications of other candidates because he made a campaign promise to specifically chose a nominee who is female and African American.

“Democrats today believe in racial discrimination,” Senator Ted Cruz responded to the nomination.

Former President Barack Obama also did not choose to nominate the first black woman to the high court as the majority of Americans believe that the nominee’s qualifications, as opposed to race and gender, should be the primary factor in joining the high court.

Joe Biden’s comments reveal his hypocrisy for the American public to see.

Back in 1991, Biden is accused of smearing Justice Clarence Thomas with allegations of sexual assault during his confirmation hearings.

Thomas responded by denouncing the hearings as a “high-tech lynching for uppity blacks.” Here’s a clip:
