Joe Biden and the Democrats, along with the FDA, have officially recommended that 6-month-old babies get jabbed with the coronavirus vaccine which has been authorized for emergency use.
Children under 5 years old are the final age group of Americans who had not yet received the recommendation.
However, Governor Ron DeSantis of Florida as well as Florida Surgeon General Dr. Joseph Ladapo disagree with the FDA’s decision to administer COVID vaccines for kids under 5.
The popular grocery store Publix, which is headquartered in Lakeland, FL, apparently agrees with DeSantis as the store is refusing to vaccine children under 5 years old.
Publix sokesperson Hannah Herring said that the grocery store will not provide COVID vaccines to children four-years-old and younger. She also said the company does not plan to offer any explanation for this decision.
DeSantis is willing to offer an explanation for his state’s decision based on the lack of evidence from “the actual data in the clinical trial.”
Not only does Florida not agree with the recommendation, the state actively recommends against it.
“We recommend against it,” DeSantis emphasized. “We are not going to have any programs where we’re trying to jab 6-month-old babies with mRNA.”
“That’s just the reality. I think what they thought would happen was that we’d be embarrassed about it,” DeSantis said in response to the White House falsely claiming that Florida recommends the vaccine for kids.
White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre lied to reporters that DeSantis has “reversed course and is now ordering vaccines.”
DeSantis shot back, “The White House is lying about it, surprise,” DeSantis said. “Not surprised the White House would lie, definitely not surprised that legacy media would amplify the lie, because that’s what they do.”
He continued, “The state of Florida, they came out with an article saying the state of Florida has not ordered, it’s Department of Health has not ordered mRNA jabs for the babies. Yes, we didn’t.”
“That was always that, we still have not ordered it, we are not going to order it,” DeSantis added

More from Daily Wire:
When the vaccines were first rolled out in late 2020 and early 2021, Publix partnered with the Florida state government to maximize the efficiency of the distribution efforts – and the chain still offers the COVID vaccine to customers aged five and above.
The move from Publix aligns with the position taken by Governor Ron DeSantis (R-FL) when the EUAs for children under five were first announced. While DeSantis did not — as some reported — bar private health care providers from ordering doses of the vaccine for younger children, he also did not authorize the state and local health departments to offer the vaccine to that age group.
Florida Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo even called out the White House for suggesting that DeSantis had barred private providers from ordering doses, adding, “FL never ‘reversed course.’ We recommended against COVID-19 vax for healthy children in March b/c there was no strong evidence of benefit. This remains the same for healthy kids <5. Providers have always been able to order vaccines. This never changed.”

Nice try, @WhiteHouse.

No state policy change in Florida. The only thing that’s changed was the federal government (FDA) issued the EUA for the shots today.
Obviously, there must be FDA approval or an EUA for the system to process orders from healthcare providers.
Retract your lies.
