Senator John Fetterman (D-PA) has emerged as a controversial figure among Senate Democrats, predicting that Pennsylvania will vote for former President Donald Trump in the upcoming election.

This prediction, made during an appearance on Newsmax, has drawn ire from liberal colleagues who are already feeling relief over the impending retirement of Senator Joe Manchin (I-WV).

Fetterman suggested that voters will favor Trump over Vice President Kamala Harris, leading to a competitive race.

“I think if you match up Trump with Harris, and I think that’s what this is really about, and I do believe he’s going to win Pennsylvania. And I do believe it’s going to be close, but whether it’s Biden, whether it was Clinton, or whether it was with Vice President Harris I think it’s going to be very close,” Fetterman said.

Meanwhile, recent developments in the Harris campaign, including the selection of Minnesota Governor Tim Walz as her running mate, have stirred criticism and speculation among Democrats.

Polls indicate a tight race in Pennsylvania, where Harris holds a narrow lead, underscoring the state’s crucial role in the upcoming election.
