New York City Mayor Eric Adams announced that Brianna Suggs, his chief political fundraiser, is no longer in that position, following a federal raid on her Brooklyn home.
Suggs has reportedly raised $2.5 million for Adams’ 2025 reelection campaign, and the FBI is investigating potential links between Adams’ campaign and a Brooklyn construction company with ties to the Turkish government.
“She is no longer doing fundraising for the campaign,” Adams said. (Trending: Chilling Surveillance Program Under Biden Exposed)
“She led the fundraising numbers when you look at throughout the entire campaign, and I feel confidence in her integrity and how hard she works,” he previously said.
“And often, young African-American ladies don’t get the opportunities that others received in this business of politics, and she stood up from an intern, became a good staffer, and ran our entire fundraising apparatus in this previous campaign and this one as well.”
Another member of Adams’ inner circle, Rana Abbasova, also had her home raided and was placed on administrative leave for improper actions related to the campaign.
Adams has emphasized his cooperation with the investigation and stated that he has nothing to hide.
“As a former member of law enforcement, I expect all members of my staff to follow the law and fully cooperate with any sort of investigation—and I will continue to do exactly that,” Adams stated.
“I have nothing to hide.”
