President Joe Biden’s visit to Hawaii may serve as a wake-up call regarding how many Americans are beginning to feel about his job performance.

Some residents admitted that they have supported Biden in the past, but will no longer vote for him. “I’m not voting for him again — that’s for sure,” said Kristen Goodwin, who is a Hawaii resident and former teacher.

“I’ll vote for Trump,” she added. “I will never vote for him again.” (Poll: Who Should Win the Presidency In 2024? VOTE)

Another resident, Leslie Santos, slammed Biden for disgracefully comparing how he almost lost his Corvette during a kitchen fire while parents searched the ashes of the island for their children.

“I am offended,” Santos said bluntly. “I’m not sure how anyone could compare the ‘almost loss’ of a Corvette, a replaceable object, to the loss of life, loss of all one’s possessions, and the loss of livelihoods.”

The president was greeted by angry protesters and middle fingers as he arrived to view the devastation caused by wildfires. At least 114 people have died and thousands remain homeless or missing.

Videos have surfaced showing several dozen residents heckling the Biden motorcade when he departed the Kapalua Airport en route to Lahaina. At Lahaina, dozens also gathered on the streets to watch Biden’s motorcade. Some people are seen waving their middle fingers at the motorcade.

Protesters were also seen holding signs. “You’re too late!” one sign read. “Actions speak louder than words,” another sign read.

Political commentator Charlie Kirk remarked that the greeting was “just brutal.” (Poll: Would You Ever Vote For Trump? VOTE)

The president is facing backlash for a number of reasons. A video of Biden recently went viral and received millions of views as Twitter users speculated that the president fell asleep during a meeting with Maui victims.

“Joe Biden just fell asleep in the middle of his meeting with victims of the Maui fires,” Matt Wallace commented.

“Ruthless and sad,” another person said. “Embarrassment,” another person commented.

While on vacation last week at Rehoboth beach in Delaware, Bloomberg’s White House reporter Justin Sink said that Biden was asked about the rising death toll in Hawaii.

“No comment,” Biden said before heading home.

“UNREAL,” political commentator Liz Wheeler responded in full caps.

Sink shared a photo of Biden on the beach surrounded by several people in beach chairs.

“Biden was asked about the deadly fires in Hawaii where nearly 100 are dead and over 1,000 still missing,” political commentator Rogan O’Handley remarked. “He just destroyed his 2024 campaign.”

The wildfires in Hawaii are now the deadliest in the United States’ modern history. Strong winds from Hurricane Dora near Hawaii fanned the flames that ultimately destroyed the historic city of Lahaina. The damage is estimated to be over $5 billion so far.
